Worship 9.19.04
It is hard to believe that last night was the eleventh Sunday for this new worship service. A lot of hard work and planning went into getting started on Sunday evenings, but we really had no idea how everything would work out. I am really excited every week to see so many faces and to feel the energy and excitement. Thank you to everyone who works so hard and to everyone who comes every week to worship with us.
This blog is a great opportunity to interact. As a pastor, I always wish I had more opportunity to talk with people about scripture and about the sermons and the worship services. I love to hear other people's perceptions and understandings. I learn a lot from books but much, much more from people.

I love that song we sang at the end of service. I think it is called the Happy Song. Do you know who that is by?
It is indeed called the Happy Song. It can be credited to the band Delirious (www.delirious.org.uk) and is available on their album Cutting Edge.
In case you can't remember all the lyrics, here they are:
The Happy Song
Oh I could sing unending songs
Of how you saved my soul
Well I could dance a thousand miles
Because of your great love.
My heart is bursting Lord
To tell of all you've done
Of how you changed my life
And wiped away the past
I wanna shout it out
From every roof top sing
For now I know that God
Is for me not against me
Everybody's singing now Cos we're so happy
Everybody's dancing now Cos we're so happy
If only we could see your face
And see you smiling over us
And unseen angels celebrate
For joy is in this place!
